Essential preferences work without analytics. Optional analytics storage is created only after you allow it.

Values kept in your browser
These are browser storage rather than cookies: they stay on your device and are never sent with a request. Clearing your site data removes all of them. They are listed here because "cookie policy" is where people look for them, and because one of them holds an email address.

What analytics records, and what it never does
If you allow analytics, measurement records page paths, tool identifiers, whether an operation succeeded, failed or was cancelled, and bucketed values such as a file-size or duration range. A file is described as 1-5 MB, never by its exact size.
It does not receive file names, file contents, extracted data, generated output, or exact file measurements. Standard network requests still expose information such as your IP address and user agent to the service receiving them, as they do on any website.
Advertising
No advertising or tag-manager script is currently loaded, and no advertising cookie is set. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the consent control will be updated before an advertising script or cookie is enabled.
Managing your choice
Use Cookie settings — in the footer of every page, and at the top of this one — to allow or decline analytics at any time. Refusing is exactly as easy as agreeing: both are a single button in the same panel, and nothing on the site behaves differently if you decline.
Declining or revoking consent immediately stops future first-party and Google Analytics events, expires the Google Analytics cookies your browser can reach, and queues deletion of the first-party event rows linked to your visitor identifier. The visitor cookie is cleared when that deletion succeeds; if the service is briefly unavailable, it is kept as a deletion key for no more than 24 hours so the erasure can be retried, and it cannot authorise a new event while that is pending.
You can also clear or block site data in your browser. If either stored consent value expires or goes missing, ToolsVerse treats the choice as undecided and asks again rather than extending consent silently.
