Are the pdf tools free?
Yes, all of them, with no account, no daily limit and no watermark on the output. The site is funded by advertising placed below the tools, never inside them.
Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. The processing runs in your browser, on your own device, so the file bytes never cross the network. There is no upload to intercept and no copy for us to retain — you can confirm it by watching the Network tab in your browser developer tools while you work.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Everything runs in a browser tab on any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on a phone as readily as on a computer. Once a page has loaded, its tool keeps working even without a connection.
Is there a file size limit on pdf tools?
We impose none, because there is no server whose capacity we are rationing. The practical ceiling is your own device memory, which on an ordinary laptop means documents of several hundred megabytes.
