About Image Mirror
Flipping a picture horizontally or vertically. The usual reason is a selfie that came out reversed, where text reads backwards and the face looks subtly wrong to the person in it. Flipping is free and runs online. Your picture is mirrored without uploading it, and comes back with no watermark on it.

Why your selfie looks wrong to you
Phone cameras usually mirror the preview so it behaves like a mirror, which is the face you know. Some save the mirrored version and some save the true one, and a face is never quite symmetric — so the saved photo can look subtly unfamiliar to you and entirely normal to everyone else, who only ever sees the unmirrored version.
What it does not do
- Any text in the image reverses too, which is precisely what makes the wrong choice obvious.
- Flipping does not rotate. An image that needs turning ninety degrees needs rotation, not a mirror.

- Why does my selfie look mirrored?
- Because the camera preview mirrors you so it feels like a mirror, and some phones save that mirrored frame. Flipping horizontally restores the orientation everyone else sees you in.
- Does flipping reduce quality?
- The transform itself is lossless — pixels are rearranged, not recalculated. Saving as a lossy format re-encodes the result, so keep the original if you may flip again.
