About Delete Pages
Removing the pages you do not want to send: the blank separator sheets a scanner inserted, the internal appendix, the duplicate that came through twice. What is left keeps its formatting exactly. Pick the specific unwanted pages and they are gone. Removing them costs nothing, is free of watermarks, and happens online in your browser without uploading the document. No account is ever created.
How to use it
- Open the documentThumbnails let you identify pages by sight rather than by number.
- Mark what to removeIndividual pages or ranges. The preview shows what will remain.
- Save the shorter documentA new file, with your original left intact.
Removing a page and hiding one are different
Some editors let you mark a page as not printing while it stays in the file. This does not do that: the page is absent from the export entirely, which is what you need when the reason for removing it is that nobody else should see it.
What it does not do
- Removal is permanent in the output file. Your original on disk is the copy to return to.
- Internal links and a table of contents pointing at removed pages will no longer resolve — unavoidable when pages are removed, and worth checking in a long document.
- Page numbers printed on the remaining pages are part of the page content and do not renumber themselves.
Questions people ask
- Can I recover a page after deleting it?
- Not from the new file, which simply does not contain it. Reopen the untouched original and export again with a different selection.
- Does this reduce the file size?
- Somewhat, but not in proportion to the pages taken out: embedded fonts and similar shared resources can still travel with the export. Run it through compression if the size is what you are chasing.
