About Rotate PDF
A page scanned sideways or upside down is unreadable on screen and prints wrong, and it is almost always one or two sheets in an otherwise fine document. Rotation fixes the orientation the document declares, without touching what is printed on the page. Turn a page 90 degrees or flip it the whole way round. No sign up, no account, no watermark: the rotation is free, and it happens online in this tab without uploading anything.
How to use it

Why this is instant even on a long document
A PDF page carries a rotation property telling a reader which way up to display it. Rotating sets that property rather than redrawing anything, so nothing is re-encoded, the text stays selectable, and the file does not grow. It is metadata, not an edit.
What it does not do
- Rotation is in ninety-degree steps, because that is what the format stores. A page scanned at a slight angle cannot be straightened here.
- Some readers ignore the rotation property when printing. If a page prints wrong despite looking right, that is the reader rather than the file.
Questions people ask
- Can I rotate just one page?
- Yes, and that is the common case. Rotation is applied per page, so the sheet that went through the scanner backwards can be corrected without disturbing the rest.
- Does rotating reduce quality?
- No. Nothing is re-rendered — the page is marked as being displayed at a different orientation, so the content is bit-for-bit what it was.
