About Invoice Generator
An invoice with line items, tax and totals, downloadable as a PDF. Built in the page, which matters here specifically: an invoice carries a client name, an address and what you charged them, and none of that needs to pass through anyone else. Free, with no account and no per-document charge. Each invoice is assembled locally and goes nowhere near a server.
How to use it
- Fill in both parties and a numberInvoice numbers should be sequential and unique — it is usually a legal requirement and always an accounting one.

Why invoice numbers have to be sequential
Most tax authorities require invoices to run in an unbroken sequence, because a gap is how a missing sale would look. That makes the number an accounting artefact rather than a label: reusing one, skipping one, or restarting at 1 each year without a prefix all cause problems later. A year prefix with a running count is the usual arrangement.
What it does not do
- What a compliant invoice must contain differs by country — tax registration numbers, specific wording, reverse-charge notes for cross-border work. Check your own requirements.
- Nothing is stored. Closing the page loses the invoice unless you have downloaded it, and there is no numbering sequence remembered for you.
- This is not accounting software. It produces a document; it does not track whether anyone paid.

- Is my client data sent anywhere?
- No. Assembly and PDF rendering both happen in the page, so a client name, an address and an amount stay on your machine. Open the network panel while you generate one and nothing carrying them appears.
- Will this invoice be legally valid?
- It produces a clear, conventional invoice, but requirements vary by jurisdiction and by whether you are registered for a sales tax. Check what your tax authority requires before relying on the layout.
