How to delete pages

Three steps, no account, and nothing to install.

  1. Open your PDF

    Drop the file in and every page is rendered as a thumbnail, which is how blank pages and duplicates become obvious — they are hard to spot in a page-number list.

  2. Select the pages to remove

    Click the pages you want gone, or type ranges such as 2, 7-9, 14. Selected pages are marked clearly so you can review the whole set before anything happens.

  3. Delete and download

    Remove the selection and save. The remaining pages are renumbered consecutively, and your original file is untouched on your device.

Documents accumulate pages nobody wants: the blank back of a single-sided sheet, a fax cover, a duplicate that the feeder pulled twice, an internal note that should not go to the client. Deleting them produces a document that says only what you meant to send, without printing and rescanning it.

Delete pages runs entirely inside this browser tab. The file you choose is read into your device's memory, processed there, and handed straight back to you — the bytes never cross the network, so there is no upload to intercept, no copy to retain and no retention policy to interpret.

Delete pages: common questions

Is the deleted content really gone from the file?
Yes. The pages are omitted when the new document is written, rather than hidden or marked invisible. This matters: some tools only hide pages, and the content can still be recovered from the file by anyone who looks.
Can I undo a deletion?
Within the session, yes — the selection can be changed until you download. Afterwards, your original file is still on your device, because nothing overwrites it.
What happens to bookmarks pointing at a deleted page?
They are removed. Bookmarks pointing at surviving pages are kept and renumbered, so no bookmark is left pointing into a gap.
Can I delete every blank page automatically?
Not automatically. A truly blank page and a faint scan of an almost-empty page are hard to tell apart reliably, and a tool that guesses wrong deletes something you needed. The thumbnails make manual selection quick.
Does removing pages make the file smaller?
Usually, in proportion to what the removed pages contained. Deleting image-heavy scans saves a lot; deleting blank pages saves very little, because a blank page is nearly free to store.
Is deleting pages enough to redact sensitive information?
Only if the information is confined to the pages you removed. Deleting a page removes everything on it, but text on a page you kept stays in the file even if something is drawn over it. Redaction within a page is a different operation.
